Tomorrow I leave to attend the 8th Association of  Golf Clubfitting Professionals (AGCP) Roundtable event.  The AGCP is dedicated to: a) furthering the education of professional golf club fitters and club makers in the science and art of custom club fitting and custom club making, and b) promoting the benefits of custom golf club fitting and custom golf clubs to the general public.

This will be my sixth Roundtable event, and the agenda for the event is full of opportunities for all attendees to improve their club fitting skills.  The schedule of events for the Roundtable is provided in the link below:

AGCP 8th Roundtable Schedule of Events

This for me is my favorite week of the year – I get to meet with friends from past events, meet and make new friends, but most importantly learn more about the art and science of professionial club fitting.  Quite frankly, I cannot wait to get in my truck and head down to Columbus, GA for the event!  I am also excited this year because I will get to make a presentation on things I have learned about putting improvement – through using the Science and Motion Sports (SAM) PuttLab.

While I am at the Roundtable, I will be sending event notes on Twitter – under hashtag #AGCPRT8.  So if you follow me on Twitter, please search under this hashtag.  I will also be summarizing insights I learn from the event in my monthly Club Fitting Newsletter that comes out on the 15th of each month (there is a link to subscribe to my newsletter on the home page of my web site).
