Well, just got back from our Yearly Golf Trip. As usual, 16 of us went to Georgia and Florida for 6 days of great golf.
Our trips are about way more than golf – about getting back together with old friends, great competition, great dinners and discussions.
For me, I put in play my new Edel 54 degree DVR wedge – 27 degrees of bounce. Each day got a little more comfortable with it, in the end hitting lots of good short shots "using the bounce." Also using some of new AimPoint training to read greens. Still using, though, my "old putter" – please come soon new Edel Putter – but knew what to adjust for and putted reasonably well.
Highlight for me the last 9 holes – 2 birdies, challenging course, could have birdied the last for even par. It was great to get so engaged in working to score well.
On way home, started reading a GREAT book that would recommend to everyone – Gary Player "Don't Choke" book. About lessons he has learned from winning 18 major titles.
365 days to next golf trip!!
The Fit Is IT!!
